6thStreet.com launches in-house sustainable clothing brand

Retail conglomerate Apparel Group’s 6thStreet.com has launched an in-house sustainable clothing brand called “ReEarth”. The collections are exclusively available at 6thStreet.com, both online and at its phygital store.

ReEarth’s vision is to offer all-season silhouettes made with 100% sustainable fabrics for women, men and children. Each piece of clothing is made at a SEDEX-certified factory in India using naturally cultivated cotton that’s free of synthetic agricultural chemicals. SEDEX is a leading ethical trade membership organisation that provides online platform, tools and services to help businesses operate responsibly and sustainably, protect workers and source ethically.

The organic cotton used to make ReEarth garments are produced with less energy and due to the improved soil quality, significantly less water. All prints and embroidery on every ReEarth piece are made at a factory certified by GOTS, a world-leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres. The labels, tags and packaging that come with each garment are biodegradable and free of toxic substances.

The ReEarth catalogue includes activewear, athleisure wear and casuals that can be worn all-year round. The collection comes in a warm colour palette with a focus on earthy tones like brown & beige, along with basic colours such as black & white. Online shoppers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman & Bahrain can access the full collection on 6thStreet.com.
