Dubai-based luxury retailer Paris Gallery announced the launch of ‘PG Connect,’ an integrated retail communications platform that will provide a rich collaborative experience through a range of communication solutions. PG has partnered with Avaya, a bu siness communications and collaboration systems provider, and Eutech Cybernetic, a of business process services provider to implement this project.

Using Avaya’s latest Collaboration Environment and Eutech’s iViva Smart Workplace platform implemented through the iViva.works suite of applications, PG Connect comes as a major overhaul of Paris Gallery’s underlying communications platform to include unified communication solutions that will enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Paris Gallery Group of companies.

“Communication is fundamental to business performance; connecting the brand to customers is of utmost importance. By putting in place the right support tools and resources, we can achieve the communication culture that we have envisioned across the entire organisation. PG Connect will not only increase the productivity of our personnel, but it will also help maintain a healthy work-life balance, which will result in them being more responsive and attentive to the needs of our customers. It will reduce maintenance costs and aid in efficiently utilising space, enabling us to put more resources into serving our clientele. Additionally, it will also help us effectively showcase our expertise in serving a unique market with value-added services and offers,” says Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Fahim, CEO of the Paris Gallery Group.

Now in its initial phase, which is expected to be fully functional before the turn of the year, the goal of PG Connect is to break down communication barriers within Paris Gallery’s vast network of stores and facilitate easy and quick collaboration among its workforce using the latest business communication solutions. “We are delighted to see how leading luxury retail chains like Paris Gallery are embracing the latest communications technologies to increase customer satisfaction, team productivity and operational efficiency. With Avaya’s open standards architecture, Paris Gallery’s infrastructure is geared for expansions while protecting its existing IT investments and enabling all its users with video and unified communications on their preferred device of choice,” adds Nidal Abou-ltaif, vice president of Avaya Middle East, Africa and Mediterranean.

“PG Connect is the first example of a communications-enabled smart workplace for the retail sector. It will transform the customer shopping experience at Paris Gallery, taking it to a whole new level, while at the same time improving staff productivity. Eutech is delighted to partner with Paris Gallery and Avaya to deliver this game-changing technology platform,” remarks Hari Gunasingham, CEO of Eutech Cybernetic.
