wnDirect targets US retail e-commerce growth

UK-based logistics company wnDirect, which provides delivery solutions specifically for e-online retailers, is looking at the growing e-commerce market in the US for expansion. wnDirect currently offers UK outbound services to 13 countries including the US.

“There is huge growth opportunity in the US for online retail growth. Larger retail chains are investing more in omnichannel efforts tying together stores with online shopping which means the online shopping experience has to match that of the store. The delivery options are vital in that process,” says Stuart Hill, managing director, wnDirect.

“wnDirect already delivers over 2 million parcels to the US each year. The launch of wnDirect in the US will give US-based retailers the opportunity to implement global logistics solutions which have been developed specifically for e-commerce. By partnering with wnDirect they can benefit from tried and tested solutions specifically tailored for this market,’’ adds Hill.
