The Ripe Market has announced a new home and extended timings. Every Friday and Saturday from 9am to 7pm, Ripe Market will take place at the newly built Dubai Police Academy Park in Umm Sequim. The new location has been purpose built for this community event and Ripe Market has partnered with the Dubai Police to ensure they are supporting the community even further.

Located on Umm Sequim Street, inside the Dubai Police Academy, each week under the lush greenery of the newly built community park, visitors can expect to go on a journey to the local produce paradise. From seasonal organic fruits and vegetables, to freshly baked bread or eat at some of Dubai’s best loved food concepts, there is a tasty treat for everyone.

In addition, there are over 100 passionate SME businesses including artisans, designers, jewellers and more. There are yoga classes, kids’ activities, a petting zoo, horse riding, workshops, live music and more for those looking for entertainment.

“We are really honoured to be partnering with the Dubai Police in our weekly community event. The Ripe Markets are about supporting local SME businesses and the Dubai Police share the same vision and passion as we do. We have received an increasing number of applications this summer from ambitious and talented SME businesses wanting to get involved and take part in our weekly market and we are excited to showcase our new venue in the heart of Dubai’s community,” says Ripe founder, Becky Balderstone.

Dubai Police will participate throughout the season with their police horses, dog shows and free pony rides for children. Their supercars will be on display for the public to interact with, and culture-focused activities at specific times of the year will be featured. The Dubai Police will also offer a programme of workshops to help make the city of Dubai more secure, ranging from car safety, cyber security and children’s safety, to name a few.

Furthermore, Ripe Market has also partnered with a number of larger businesses who share the same passion for a healthy lifestyle and supporting SME businesses. among these businesses are noon, Careem, Chevrolet Bolt EV, Adventure HQ, X Dubai, Just Play and Animal Care Centre.
