GymNation to open second facility in Bur Dubai

Dubai-based frill-free, affordable fitness destination GymNation has announced the launch of its second facility in Bur Dubai during the second quarter of 2019. The second GymNation – following its first facility in Al Quoz – will be located between BurJuman Centre and Spinneys on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street.

The second GymNation in Bur Dubai, spanning 30,000 sqft, will be a state-of-the-art facility with over 500 pieces of latest generation Matrix equipment. It will continue to be budget smart with an easy monthly payment model. Members can also choose from diverse and exciting range of group classes which include JumpNation, the popular mini trampoline cardio class, and BollyNation adrenaline-loaded Bollywood inspired fitness class. The Bur Dubai site will also incorporate a dedicated virtual class studio, providing members with 24/7 access to all the latest Les Mills via up to date virtual technology.

“GymNation has an aggressive expansion plan lined up ahead for 2019 and 2020 and the ready acceptance and popularity among fitness enthusiasts as well as first timers helps drive our ambition,” says founder, Frank Afeaki. “While expansion was always on the cards, the overwhelming success of our Al Quoz facility encouraged us to embark on our roll out plan and the Bur Dubai branch sooner. We strive to make health and fitness affordable and accessible to all whilst offering a market leading product.”

GymNation launched a little over a year ago and signed up over 5,000 members during the pre-opening phase of the flagship facility. Following the announcement of its second location in Bur Dubai, it has attracted over 1,000 members who have already signed up.

“What is most pleasing is that 1/3rd of our members are health and fitness first-timers, which highlights the importance of affordable and easy to access fitness opportunities. The combination of price point, no-contract memberships, a world-class facility and 24/7 opening hours, appeals to a broader cross-section of society than ever before,” adds founder, Loren Holland.
