Saudi Arabia-based modern supermarket concept Tamimi Markets – privately owned by Dammam-based Tamimi Group – has been ranked among top 100 Saudi brands in a first-ever national survey, which asked consumers to vote for their favourite Saudi Arabian brands that best represent a strong presence in the market and their own consumer preferences.
“Tamimi Markets is on a journey of growth and innovation and we take great pride in providing our customers with the best in fresh foods, quality, variety and service. It’s an honour as a Saudi company to have our brand recognised and appreciated by our customers who we work so hard to serve,” says Khaled Almayoof, manager investments and government relations, while receiving the award on behalf of Tamimi Markets from Dr Abdulaziz Bin Mohieddin Khoja, Saudi minister of Culture and Information.
Currently Tamimi Markets operates 21 modern supermarkets in the Kingdom, with plans to take the number to 50 by 2020.
