BinHendi Enterprises launches SAP-based business transformation

UAE-based luxury retailer BinHendi Enterprises announced the launch of its SAP-based business transformation with SAP and CSC. The group has made a strategic decision and long-term commitment to expand its retail and hospitality divisions and to support its operations more effectively with the latest SAP technology innovations on a SAP HANA Cloud Platform.

The SAP HANA Cloud Platform is an in-memory cloud platform for today’s increasingly networked, mobile, social and data-driven world. Its powerful applications deliver real-time insights to drive more effective and timely decision making and to dramatically accelerate analytics, business processes, sentiment data processing and predictive capabilities to manage organisations on a day- to-day basis more effectively.

“SAP is designed to provide BinHendi with leading business solutions such as improved sales forecasting and stock replenishment, effective customer service, to optimise supply chain, support daily operations and provide accurate analytics and reports that will support management when making important decisions. Various departments and functions within BinHendi Enterprises will also benefit from the new SAP system including finance, human resources, sales and distribution and stock management, creating a business environment that is properly governed, accurately monitored and thoroughly controlled, says Steven Kruger, acting CEO of BinHendi Enterprises.

“This launch takes our partnership with BinHendri Enterprises to the next level, recognising that BinHendi is a regional leader in the adoption of the latest cloud-based technology solutions. Our SAP HANA platform will serve as the engine for driving growth across BinHendi’s industries, innovating their back-end processes while also enhancing their customer experiences. By partnering with CSC, we are ensuring that BinHendi will have best practices in delivering on their transformational journey,” adds Tayfun Topkoc, managing director, SAP UAE.

CSC, one of the global leaders in providing the latest technology in business solutions and services, was appointed by BinHendi Enterprises to implement its SAP systems. BinHendi Enterprises follows best SAP practices such as the “SAP Driven Implementation” as well as the “SAP Secure Success Quality Assurance” system. It is also the first UAE site to be recognised for hosting its “SAP IS Retail” system on the HANA Cloud Platform, integrated with GK POS, a SAP specific POS solution.

BinHendi Enterprises has already launched the first phase of its SAP system with future SAP projects such as GK POS, social media integration, e-commerce, customer loyalty programmes and advanced customer analytics will go live later in 2015 and 2016.
