Al Ghurair Centre introduces ‘The Market’

UAE’s first shopping mall, Al Ghurair Centre has introduced ‘The Market’, its latest addition aiming to diversify and revitalise retail creating a unique shopping experience, as part of its 2018 strategy.

The launch of The Market at Al Ghurair Centre will constitute the heart and soul of the community where it resides, as it has made a priority out of inviting local retailers to set up shop in the mall. This new concept will offer products that consumers can only find at The Market, and not elsewhere, offering uniqueness to the community’s shopping experience.

The Market booths will feature novelty products such as jewellery, customisable wallets, passport holders, luggage tags, abayas, African print clothing, sandals, watches, sunglasses and much more. Further to this, The Market will also feature a dedicated section for perfumes, oud and beauty products, in addition to a specialised booth for children’s educational games and toys.

“The Market is an interpretational platform presenting an engaging lifestyle filled with excitement and diversification, highlighting a profound level of insight into the shopper’s experience, and translating the forward-thinking and community-driven vision of Al Ghurair Centre, making it the mall of choice and convenience within the city,” says Sami Al Hakeem, vice president, Al Ghurair Centre.

Since its inception in 1982, Al Ghurair Centre’s vision has always been to create a very unique, experiential and best-in-class shopping destination with an offering that’s compelling to its customers. It is home to over 270 brands, local and international, more than 50 restaurants, entertainment venues and two hypermarkets, in addition to its one of-a-kind outdoor Dining District, as well as a five-star luxury hotel (Swissôtel Al Ghurair Hotel) and furnished deluxe residences (Swissôtel Living Al Ghurair).
