UAE-based Al Maya Group, which operates more than 40 supermarkets in the Gulf region, has opened its fourth store in Abu Dhabi on Al Reem Island.
“We are expanding our retail business activities in a big way and are planning to increase the number of stores in the Middle East before the year end. In addition, we are also aiming at bringing in fresh organic produce locally as well as from Spain, Holland and the US. Organic products from South Africa like Carmien Organic Tea, Organic Olive Oil will soon reach our shelves including products like All Gold Ketchup and Bakers Biscuits and Natural Spices,” says Kamal Vachani, group director, Al Maya Group.
