Saudi Arabia-based Al-Othaim Leisure and Tourism Company is all set to launch the first Snow City in KSA this week at Al Othaim Mall Rabwa in Riyadh.

Snow City will offer an exciting yet realistic snowy environment – under 3° Celsius all-year round – for visitors in the Kingdom.

Commenting on the upcoming launch CEO Fahad bin Abdullah Al-Othaim says, “A touristic attraction of this magnitude coincides with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, which aims to boost internal tourism. This renders it an attractive and lucrative industry that contributes to the Kingdom’s economic diversification plans in order to propel the national economy and create new jobs for Saudi nationals.”

“Snow City is considered to be the first and largest comprehensive snow attraction in the Kingdom. It has been constructed across a 5,000 sqm area with a cost of around SAR100 million with an hourly capacity of 350 people. The Snow City will be home to 12 different activities including a panoramic suspension bridge, ice bumper cars, sledge and ski zone, rope courses, climbing wall, snow mobiles and many others,” he adds.

Al-Othaim Leisure and Tourism Company specialises in the planning, operation and management of attractive touristic projects and innovative entertainment attractions. It boasts a wide leisure and entertainment portfolio across KSA and the Middle East, including Saffori Land, Faby Land, My Town, Action Zone, Slash Water Park and Extreme Zone.
