Abu Dhabi-based Al Wahda Mall has announced the expansion of consumer electronics brand Sharaf DG in the shopping mall. From 4,103 sqft earlier, the new store – located next to Oscar Cinema – now spans across nearly 10,000 sqft with added departments for home appliances and personal care.

Commenting on the new expanded retail outlet of Sharaf DG, Navaneeth Sudhakaran, general manager of Al Wahda Mall said, “We are continually reinventing our leasing strategies to offer more to our tenants. This year we are positively looking forward to a significant rise in the tenant retention while welcoming newer and bigger brands. We value our relationship with Sharaf DG and see a great demand for consumer electronics owing to the strategic location of the mall in the heart of Abu Dhabi. We are looking forward to add more value to our tenants with our innovative leasing strategies.”

“Sharaf DG and Al Wahda Mall’s association has been a fruitful one. We’re both committed to offer the best shopping experience to our valued customers and looking at the market sentiment picking up pace, launching a bigger store was the next logical step for us to take the customer experience to the next level at this popular shopping mall,” added Nilesh Khalkho, CEO of Sharaf DG.

In 2018, more than 60 new outlets were launched among which were Miniso, Mumuso, Barbeque Nation, Wendy’s, Jollibee, Max Fashion, Etude House, Roman, Atasay Jewellery, Tas-Heel & Tad-Beer, Kaya Skin Clinic, Socks Collection, Daiso, Bench, R&B and more. In 2019, the mall is all set to launch Babyshop, The Deal, Jimmy’s Killer Prawns, Saray Jewellery, Tapa King, Al Falak, Henlin, Expansion of the cinema, Cottonil and Chaitime, to name a few.
