Apple is getting ready to open its first two stores in India in Mumbai and New Delhi. The Apple BKC store in Mumbai is set to open on April 18 followed by Apple Saket in New Delhi on April 20.
Ahead of the Mumbai store launch Apple BKC has announced a special “Mumbai Rising” series to run from April 18 to May 25 that will explore new futures in music, film, art and more. Bringing visitors, local artists and creatives together the sessions will offer hands-on activities with Apple’s products and services that celebrate the local community and culture in Mumbai. While the recently revealed barricade for Apple Saket features a unique design that takes inspiration from Delhi’s many gates each signifying a new chapter to the city’s storied past.
In addition, users can download custom-made Apple BKC and Apple Saket wallpapers and curated playlists of popular songs based on both cities.
