AQUAZZURA launches first boutique in the UAE

Florence-based luxury footwear brand AQUAZZURA, founded by Colombian designer Edgardo Osorio has launched its first boutique in Dubai, in partnership with the Etoile Group.

Located at The Dubai Mall, the store strengthens the ties of AQUAZZURA with the region, and features a unique concept perfectly emulating the city’s glamorous lifestyle.

“I’m so happy to finally be able to welcome all the wonderful AQUAZZURA clients of the country into our new home at The Dubai Mall,” says Osorio. “I wanted the boutique to be inspired by the charming, historic architecture of the region, but in a contemporary way.”

Looking for the perfect balance between Arabic elements and the modern design of the brand, the interior pays homage to the beautiful Islamic architecture.

The sophisticated space displays some of the AQUAZZURA distinctive codes, such as the golden detailing and the black and white combination. The signature striped motif is featured in the marble façade and the arches creating a connection within the AQUAZZURA stores around the world, while a warm shade of pink is present both in the ceiling and in the milled walls.

Harmoniously, the Arabic decoration is dominant in the gold-framed boutique windows and niches with solid brass shelves, both in form of arches. While the recurring motif of the eight-pointed star, often seen in the Middle Eastern tilework, is featured in the ceiling tasselation and in the form of a star-cut hand-woven wool carpet positioned in the centre of the boutique floor as part of an intricate geometric pattern.

The AQUAZZURA Dubai Boutique will provide a unique customer experience offering the latest collections and the most iconic shoe styles of the brand, with a selection reflecting the fashion-conscious international clientele of the city.
