UAE-based developer Arada has signed up global coffee chain Starbucks – part of MH Alshaya Group in the region – and supermarket chain Spinneys for Nasma Central at its New Sharjah project.

The Spinneys and Starbucks outlets will be based at Nasma Central, the project’s community and retail complex, which overlooks a lushly landscaped 13-acre park. Featuring almost 44,000 sqft of leasable space, Nasma Central will also include a Bright Education pre-school, a Health First pharmacy and an Emco Express laundry. The site will also feature the Arada Gym and Clubhouse, an 8,600 sqft centre for health and wellness with a swimming pool.

Almost 65% of Nasma Central has now been leased out, with remaining spaces for F&B outlets, a medical clinic, a barber shop and beauty salon still to be confirmed. While serving the population of Nasma Residences, the complex will also provide support to local communities in both the Al Tay and Al Seyouh suburbs.

“One of our aims is to continuously increase the value of the homes in our projects, whether that is by introducing smart and sustainable business practices, increasing community offerings or partnering with top-tier brands. We are delighted to welcome each of the new tenants in Nasma Central, and look forward to working with them to deliver a beautiful new community space for Sharjah,” said Arada chairman, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi.
