Swiss luxury timepiece maker Bedat & Co Geneve recently announced the opening of its first shop-in-shop in the Middle East in partnership with Dubai-based Al-Futtaim Watches & Jewellery within the latter’s The Watch House store in Wafi Mall. This move is an important part of Bedat & Co Geneve’s brand strategy for global growth and expansion. The new shop-in-shop is the first one among five others to open soon including one in The Dubai Mall.

“We are very excited about our entry into the UAE market and our promising partnership with renowned retailer Al-Futtaim Watches & Jewellery. As the only brand for today’s modern women founded by a woman, we are well versed with shopping environments and believe The Watch House in Wafi Mall matches perfectly with our brand ideology,” observes Charmaine Low, Bedat & Co Geneve’s marketing director. “Our Dubai brand store will embody many of our trademark identifiers, including strong, confident cherry-wood and deep, rich purples in a beautiful Art Deco environment for which we are now very well known,” We believe having the right environment in which to display our elegant timepieces is a key to creating the right atmosphere, an atmosphere uniquely understood by women today,” she adds.

“As one of the region’s leading retailers, Al-Futtaim Watches & Jewellery always chooses its partners with great care. We believe Bedat & Co Geneve with their beautifully crafted timepieces offers our customers something truly different and as a retailer, that really excites us. We look forward to a strong long-lasting relationship in the industry,” says Thomas Dotzek, senior general manager, Al-Futtaim Watches & Jewellery.
