Children’s personalised gift retailer Big On Children has opened the first store of its kind in Dubai at The Dubai Mall. Big On Children offers personalised growth charts, alarm clocks and cuddl y toys that sing the child’s name as part of a wide selection of songs from which a parent or relative is able to select.

Also available are personalised CDs which are made to order within two minutes through special on-demand technology. For a rare visual experience the Big On Children DVDs integrate images of a child in a variety of different, fun stories and adventures lasting over 20 minutes such as Snow White, Little Mermaid and Turbo Kid to name a few.

“With Big On Children we are introducing something innovative to the Middle Eastern market. All our personalised products are currently available in 10 languages, including English, Arabic, French and German, with an extensive database of thousands of international names. Our goal is to make kids feel special and create a fun and unique learning experience for them at the same time,” says Ramzy Abdul-Majeed, co-founder of Big On Children.

As an added convenience for shoppers, the store at The Dubai Mall will keep children busywhile parents shop – with a flat screen television, kiddie chairs and a special wall where kids can draw and scribble to their hearts content.

“The store is a playful and interactive space where parents can shop for a unique gift while their children enjoy the entertainment on offer,” says Samar Nabulsi, co-founder of Big on Children.
