Black Tap, Mall of the Emirates

The cult New York burger and shakes brand, which is part of Sunset Hospitality Group in the region, Black Tap opens in Mall of the Emirates. Added to its regional portfolio, Black Tap’s new flagship outlet is situated on the first floor of Mall of the Emirates.

The Black Tap restaurant in Mall of the Emirates is spread across 3,525 sqft and offers an all-American casual dining experience. The restaurant sports signature interiors that reflect the brand’s old-school, hip hop roots from New York featuring custom street art murals by UAE-based urban artists.

The new flagship outlet features a dedicated CrazyShake counter offering customers the choice of dine-in or ‘to-go’ service, including Black Tap’s top three bestselling CrazyShake in a to-go format.

As Black Tap opens in Mall of the Emirates, the brand owner Chris Barish, said, “Black Tap has become a true staple in Dubai’s food scene and remains eternally popular with both dine-in guests and those dining at home. The opening of our fifth outlet in the UAE elevates the brand as a doorstep dining destination for an even greater number of UAE residents and tourists across the country. As we continue to expand, we will stay true to our roots by offering downtown vibes, great music and simple but quality food. We’re in the people business and seeing happy people keeps us going.”

“Having seen an extraordinary response with our recent The Dubai Mall opening, the Mall of the Emirates opening evolves Black Tap’s Dubai network into a truly city-wide offering. Residents in any area of the city now have a maximum travel time of 20 minutes to reach a Black Tap restaurant and enjoy the enduring greatness of our craft burgers and CrazyShake milkshakes,” added Antonio Gonzalez, CEO, Sunset Hospitality Group.
