Blowfish swims to shore at Fairmont The Palm

Lifestyle resort on Palm Jumeirah, Fairmont The Palm, revealed its latest offering Blowfish – an all-day casual style American dining destination.

Blowfish is a fun ‘Instagram-able’ venue serving pool side beverages in addition to ‘grab and go’ dishes such as burgers, loaded hot dogs, thick milkshakes, soft serve sundaes and nostalgic soda ice-cream floats in a quirky-cool al fresco setting.

Marked by a fluorescent pink Shark, the laid back hang out spot is uniquely designed to capture the imagination of its guests, with a white and tropical themed seating, fresh green printed palm trees and plentiful comfortable cushions.

On the menu, there are themed soft-serve ice-cream sundaes that will be the main highlight. For savoury lovers, there are the loaded ‘Dirty Fries’ covered in chili and cheese or the signature ‘Blowfish Burger’. A beverage menu will feature an array of refreshing pool side soft drinks and mock-tails, with a cocktail and beverage list.

“Blowfish is an exciting new concept for us; it provides a fantastic offering for our in-house guests and visitors to the palm, for a casual and fun bite to eat during the day and early evening. The menu provides a different experience, one that complements the latest trend in dining experiences, affordable, sharable and ‘insta-worthy’ food. I’m pleased to be expanding our culinary offerings further and adding to the range of cuisines available,” says food and beverage director, Alain Gobeil.

Blowfish marks the 10th restaurant and bar offering at Fairmont The Palm, following on from its most recent dining destinations, Ba Restaurant and Lounge, Seagrill Bistro and Little Miss India.
