British popcorn brand, Joe & Seph’s – a family business launched in 2010 in London – has entered the regional market with its handmade, gourmet, air-popped popcorn.

The brand takes its name from its founder, Joseph Sopher, who launched the family business with his wife Jackie and their eldest son, Adam. After years of creating his innovative style of popcorn for friends and relatives from his kitchen, he decided to launch Joe & Seph’s in Selfridges, London.

Joe & Seph’s products are now available in over 20 countries across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and North America. In the UAE, Joe & Seph’s can be found in Spinneys, Waitrose and stocked by Warner Brother World Theme Park, Emirates Airlines and Burj Al Arab Hotel to name a few.

With over 40 creative flavours such as Salted Caramel, Goat Cheese & Black Pepper, Peanut Butter and Mature Cheddar Cheese, Joe & Seph’s delicious popcorn are handmade in London using all-natural ingredients.

Sopher uses an innovative “flavour-sequencing” process that locks in flavours so that they flourish on the palate at different intervals when the popcorn is consumed. Every kernel is air-popped, which is a healthier cooking method than frying and results in better texture and taste, before being coated in smooth caramel, infused with natural ingredients.

According to a report by Allied Market Research, the global popcorn market is projected to reach $15 billion by 2023, registering a CAGR of 7.6% from 2017 to 2023.
