Dubai-based shopping mall, BurJuman has partnered with the UAE Red Crescent to support the less fortunate during the holy month of Ramadan. Visitors can drop off pre-loved toys and clothes in good condition at the donation boxes available across the shopping mall.
In addition, BurJuman has planned a flurry of traditional activities for visitors that depict the culture and the importance of the holy month as well as commemorate the Year of Tolerance where people come together as one.
From the first day of Ramadan, May 6, and running into Eid Al Fitr, visitors can experience and embrace the true spirit of the holy month through the themed décor spread across the mall, while also participating in the numerous complimentary activities available. From Iftar to 10pm each night during Ramadan, visitors can enjoy coffee and dates available at the main atriums of the mall, get henna art done, learn Arabic calligraphy and explore the creative arts at the Arts and Crafts Corner.
BurJuman will also introduce a Year of Tolerance wall during the Eid Al Fitr celebration that will encourage consumers to connect the dots with colourful threads on the wall, outlining what tolerance means to them.
