After exactly a decade of pulling out, French grocery major Carrefour is set to re-enter India through a franchise agreement with UAE-headquartered regional retail conglomerate Apparel Group’s India operations.
Apparel Group India will reportedly launch the first Carrefour store(s) in the National Capital Region (NCR) in 2025 with plans for nation-wide expansion across multiple formats.
In a LinkedIn post, Apparel Group India Pvt Ltd stated: “We are thrilled to announce Apparel Group’s partnership with Carrefour to introduce Carrefour’s renowned retail experience with plans for nationwide expansion across India.”
