Retail conglomerate Landmark Group’s multi-brand concept, Centrepoint has launched its first-ever ‘store of the future’ at Ibn Battuta Mall, bringing together both the online and offline worlds to create a truly immersive retail experience for its customers in the UAE.

Spanning across 42,384 sqft, the launch of the new store marks a significant step forward in the company’s customer-centric omnichannel strategy. From a modern and fresh layout to open and clear walkways with digital interfaces and LED screens, the ‘store of the future’ has been designed keeping customer convenience at heart.

In line with the Landmark Group’s DNA to offer exceptional value to its customers, the all-new Centrepoint will bring in a fashion experience with an extensive range of fashion, beauty, kids and footwear products from in-house brands Splash, Lifestyle, Babyshop and SHOEMART.

New features at the store include mobile cashiers to enable faster and easier checkouts, an exclusive mother and baby room equipped with comfortable seating to ensure a hassle-free shopping experience for mothers. The brand has also introduced dedicated personal stylists on-call in the store to assist shoppers, provide styling tips and help them choose the best outfits and sizes. Furthermore, customers can even treat themselves to freshly brewed coffee and quick meals at the newly introduced coffee station.

Speaking about the new ‘store of the future’, Simon Smith, COO, Centrepoint, said, “We are very excited to announce the launch of our first-ever ‘store of the future’ in the UAE. Throughout the store, we have introduced several new elements to offer an all-new shopping experience and delight our customers. The new layout has been designed for easy navigation and the use of smart technology is indeed a transformational step for our business, in our effort to create a seamless customer journey.”

“As a brand that is much loved by families, kids and mothers, we are continuously working to drive convenience and enhance our customer service to ensure that they have an excellent time shopping with us at all times,” he added.

Home to four of Landmark Group’s concepts – Babyshop, Splash, Lifestyle, SHOEMART and now Emax, Centrepoint is a leading family shopping destination in the region. The brand currently operates 144 stores across 7 countries. To grow its footprint further, the retailer is planning to open 11 outlets across GCC, which is expected to increase its retail space to 6.6million sqft.
