Chalhoub Group plans to double staff in KSA by 2030

Middle East based luxury retail group Chalhoub Group plans to double staff in KSA by 2030. Towards this end it has launched a campaign called #MYBOLDFUTURE at Fashion Futures an annual event held by the Fashion Commission of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture.

The new campaign which runs across social and digital media and features real life stories of Chalhoub team members. The aim is to highlight the limitless career opportunities the Kingdom’s retail sector has to offer for the new generation of Saudi youth, support their development in the sector, and propel them on a dynamic career path in the rapidly expanding luxury retail industry.

Chalhoub Group realises that today’s youth aspire to work for a reputable employer on meaningful projects and they crave real impact, and personal and professional development. The campaign was created to inspire Saudi youth to explore jobs in luxury retail and consider them as the steppingstone to a long successful career.

“Participating in this year’s Fashion Futures demonstrates once again Chalhoub Group’s commitment to the development of the Saudi fashion sector and its homegrown talent as well to the Saudi Fashion Commission initiatives. Launching #MYBOLDFUTURE campaign from this platform is another testimony of our efforts to integrate a larger segment of Saudi youth into the retail workforce and support them throughout their career journey. Our ambition is to continue playing a pivotal role and strongly contributing to shape the Kingdom’s luxury fashion industry,” said Patrick Chalhoub, Group President of Chalhoub Group.

Chalhoub Group is committed towards nationalisation, youth employment and employability through partnerships, initiatives and training programmes to upskill and develop youth so that everyone can unlock their potential and advance in their careers. More recently, Chalhoub Group Retail Academy was officially recognised as an accredited training centre by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) in the Kingdom. The Group is actively equipping retail frontliners with industry knowledge and skills by capitalising on their human, intellectual and physical resources, and harnessing data to offer state-of-the art, experiential and innovative learning experiences.

“Saudi Arabia is a fashion hot spot with a vibrant retail scene and ever-increasing demand for the most exciting designers, many of which are opening luxury stores and building a presence in the Kingdom. We are proud to stand behind the Chalhoub Group as they launch the ‘My Bold Future’ campaign, which will play a pivotal role in inspiring the next generation workforce across the fashion retail industry,” added Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Fashion Commission.
