The luxury house of Dior officially opened its first Maison Christian Dior boutique at the Dubai Duty Free (DDF) in Dubai International Airport.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in Terminal 3, Concourse B and was attended by DDF senior officials, headed by Colm McLoughlin, executive vice chairman & CEO and the Parfums Christian Dior team, headed by Francois Demachy, Dior perfumer-creator.
Also present to mark the opening was DDF COO, Ramesh Cidambi; executive vice president – corporate services, Salah Tahlak; senior vice president – purchasing, Saba Tahir; and Christian Dior officials Frank Dagher Hayeck, director travel retail, Africa, Middle East & Indian subcontinent and Ingrid Pineau – commercial director – travel retail Middle East & Indian subcontinent.
Designed to evoke the look of a Parisian home, Maison Christian Dior houses a remarkable range of fragrances, candles, soaps as well as body creams.
Commenting on the opening McLoughlin said, “We are delighted to see the opening of this elegant retail outlet which is right in the heart of our busy Concourse B.
