City Centre Muscat, part of Dubai-based Majid Al Futtaim (MAF), plans to open 60 new retail outlets – such as Virgin Megastore, Bershka, American Eagle and Koton – including 12 high profile international brands making their debut in Oman like F&F, New Look, Guess Accessories, Lovisa, Pandora and Lush to name a few.
The mall is in its second phase of redevelopment spanning 10,000 sqm with an investment worth $70 million. These new retail brands are being launched as part of this redevelopment. It will also have a new eatery zone with five casual dining restaurants in addition to a new 700-space car park.
“After witnessing increases in footfall and sales figures last year, and now by welcoming 60 additional shopping outlets in 2015, we are confident MAF’s investments in City Centre Muscat will continue to bring robust growth in the years to come,” says Husam Al Mandhari, senior mall manager for City Centre Muscat
City Centre Muscat’s first phase of redevelopment – including a 10-screen cinema and refurbishment of the Magic Planet children’s entertainment zone – was completed last year.
