City Centre Sharjah – part of shopping mall developer and retail and leisure operator Majid Al Futtaim – has added new retail offerings as part of its AED260 million expansion plan.

Among the new concepts is a dedicated entertainment and dining destination with a state-of-the-art 12-screen VOX Cinemas featuring the latest cinematic technologies, complementing the mall’s existing Magic Planet and boosting the community’s leisure options.

Four new F&B options – including Chili’s, Gazebo, Nando’s and McDonaldswill be available right next to the new entertainment venue for pre- or post-cinema dining experience.

Fashion retailers set to open their doors in the mall include Annabelle, Khaadi and Nayomi, while perfume and cosmetics shop Flormar and optical solution providers Rivoli Eye Zone and Yateem Optician will also join the mall’s line-up of new stores.

For the latest in gifts, luggage and home goods, shoppers will be able to visit Carpisa and Home Box furniture, respectively.

Services for the community are a key consideration for City Centre Sharjah’s expansion, and given the mall’s accessibility and central location, MAF Clinic – Majid Al Futtaim’s solution for the health and wellness of both residents and tourists – will come to Sharjah for the first time. Delivering additional services to City Centre Sharjah’s visitors, new outlets of Commercial Bank of Dubai, UAE Exchange, Life Pharmacy and Etisalat will also be available at the mall.

“In line with Majid Al Futtaim Properties’ role as a launch platform for new brands to the markets we serve, City Centre Sharjah’s expansion has attracted new brands keen to be part of the emirate’s unique identity and serve its population of residents and tourists,” says Ghaith Shocair, CEO – shopping malls, Majid Al Futtaim – Properties.

“The launch of new outlets and the inclusion of many well-loved retailers, complemented by a premium entertainment experience, will underscore Majid Al Futtaim’s commitment to deliver great moments for everyone, everyday, through the continued growth of City Centre Sharjah,” he adds.

Those driving to City Centre Sharjah will be able to access a new car-park covered deck, enabling direct access to the mall via welcome courts. Majid Al Futtaim has put in place additional accessibility measures to make the mall’s operation continuous and seamless during the redevelopment project, which is expected to be complete by end of this year.
