City Centres Ajman and Sharjah expand collaboration with Air Arabia

Majid Al Futtaim shopping malls, City Centres Sharjah and Ajman have expanded their collaboration with Air Arabia this year by launching an exclusive AirRewards campaign with a range of exciting benefits for regular shoppers.

The three-month long initiative will allow frequent shoppers at the malls to collect AirRewards points on every spend of AED5 until July 31, 2019. By shopping for grocery worth AED75 at Carrefour can get customers a hot meal on their next flight with Air Arabia. Points collected from the purchase of an AED450 outfit can go towards free luggage allowance or a seat upgrade with the airline. Shoppers also have the benefit of using their AirRewards points at any time even after the campaign has ended.

“Our four-year fruitful partnership with Air Arabia has evolved into a more rewarding AirRewards programme for customers this year. For the first time, Majid Al Futtaim shopping malls have introduced a long-term spend and win points system that will benefit regular customers visiting City Centre Ajman and City Centre Sharjah,” said Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, managing director for Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Shopping Malls (UAE, Bahrain & Oman). “Air Arabia is the preferred carrier for more than 90% of our shoppers and we want them to enjoy the different services the airline offers for free with this generous AirRewards programme. The more they shop their favourite brands at our malls, the more chances they get to avail free add-ons and travel with Air Arabia.”

Shoppers can register for the AirRewards programme at City Centres Ajman and Sharjah when they make their first purchase during the campaign. The malls will reward customers with 1 AirRewards point for every AED5 spent at any of the stores and dining outlets. Points can be exchanged at any time for Air Arabia AirRewards products and services – including air tickets, luggage allowance and meals. One shopper will also be selected through a draw to win the grand prize of 1,000,000 AirRewards points, which translates to AED36,732 to spend on airline tickets for an unlimited period.

Air Arabia flies to more than 70 destinations around the world directly from Sharjah and is considered as the main national low-cost carrier in the emirate of Sharjah and Ajman. The airline launched its AirRewards in 2015.
