Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo raise the bar for educational entertainment

April 3, 2018 | By RetailME Bureau

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo has launched an aqua-nursery – the new special place for the Aquarium’s youngest residents to spend their initial months, surrounded by other new arrivals.

Adorned in blush pinks and baby blues, the adorable nursery not only allows the aquarium experts to care for the new-borns, but it also offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the varying lifecycles and reproductive process for a variety of species.

Visits to the aqua-nursery will also explore peak breeding seasons, gestation periods and the scientific terminologies covering various species – for an enlightening, entertaining and all-round adorable discovery.

Currently residing in the nursery are zebra sharks, shovel nose rays, bamboo sharks and blue spotted rays, which have all been born naturally at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo.

As Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo continues to raise the bar for educational entertainment, the aqua-nursery seeks to further engage young minds and teach them about species which are otherwise not accessible.

The aqua-nursery joins other attractions aimed at raising awareness, including the likes of King Croc, Kraken’s Lair and underwater experiences including the Shark Feeding encounter and Underwater Scooter, which are designed to educate and encourage conservation efforts amongst visitors.
