The Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG), with the support of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), has announced a digital raffle draw for its citywide shopping promotion during the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2020.

The all-new contactless, digital raffle draw has been announced by DSMG to ensure high safety measures for residents of Dubai, while they enjoy the AED1 million-worth ‘Shop & Win’ promotion. Shoppers can enter the digital raffle draw by spending AED200 at any of the participating malls.

This year, the participating shopping malls include Al Barsha Mall, Al Bustan Centre, Al Ghurair Centre, Arabian Centre, Bin Sougat Centre, Burjuman, City Centre Al Shindagha, City Centre Me’aisem, Dubai Outlet Mall, Etihad Mall, Oasis Mall, Times Square Center, Reef Mall and Uptown Mirdif. The participating malls have implemented comprehensive health and safety measures to build on shopper confidence.

“With Dubai building its way back to full operations, we at DSMG and DFRE are working towards speeding the recovery phase for the retail sector,” said DSMG chairman, Majid Al Ghurair. “Our long-term strategic partnership with malls in the city has helped us design a new interactive way to host this year’s much-awaited DSS 2020 promotions. We are confident that we have organised a safe experience for consumers who can now enjoy their summer in Dubai. We must also praise the efforts of DFRE who supported us and acted as a major force for the revival of the Dubai retail sector.”

“The strategic association with DSMG has been growing from strength to strength and, this year, the partnership has evolved to become even stronger. We are diligently working towards building consumer confidence and reshaping the retail sector with campaigns that offer more than just shopping deals,” added Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO, DFRE. “Also, with the digital raffle draws, we expect a shift in consumer buying behaviour. To further act on shopper safety, we are encouraging contactless payments and regular COVID-19 testing for retail staff in malls, to list few of our efforts.”
