Saudi Arabia-based consumer electronics and home appliance retailer United Electronics Company (eXtra) was named one of the ‘Top 100 Saudi Brands’ during an event presided over by Dr Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, minister of education and information, in Riyadh.
Shortlisted companies were chosen following a poll which asked Saudi consumers to name their top local brands. Covering a wide range of sectors including retail, services and industrial, eXtra’s position in the Top 100 list is a reflection of both their individual success and contribution to the national economic development.
“The last decade has seen the emergence of a group of outstanding home-grown brands, each offering customers products and services that equal their global competitors. eXtra is very proud to have played an important role in this and we thank all of our customers for their unerring loyalty towards the brand. We are especially pleased to be named as one of the ‘Top 100 Saudi Brands’ given that this is based on the direct feedback from consumers in the Kingdom,” says Karim Manssour-Dahbi, CEO of eXtra.
