Emaar Entertainment to launch VR Park at The Dubai Mall

Emaar Entertainment, the leisure and entertainment subsidiary of Emaar Properties, has announced the launch of a one-of-its-kind virtual world for all ages called the VR Park in The Dubai Mall.

The VR Park has a range of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences for visitors of all ages and interests. Designed to #ChallengeReality, the VR Park is set to transform the VR entertainment landscape, providing an unprecedented breadth of games, rides and experiences to suit all ages.

Due to open in the first half of 2018 in The Dubai Mall, the new VR Park will mark the future of entertainment for the region, bringing together some of the world’s best VR developers to deliver an unprecedented and awe-inspiring leisure and entertainment experience.

Combining AR, VR and experiential attractions, the VR Park is designed to blur the lines between perception and reality through unforgettable, game-changing experiences, spanning wholly immersive rides, educational journeys and interactive games – including a rollercoaster.

Set across two levels of the mall and focusing on the concept of ‘Shared Escapism’, many of the attractions offer a multi-player experience allowing visitors to interact with one another and live the experience with family and friends.

The VR Park has been specifically designed to offer something for everyone, with attractions appealing to all interests, across adrenalin, horror, leisure and more, as well as PVRK Café where guests can relax and indulge in out-of- this-world treats.

The addition of VR Park to Emaar Entertainment’s portfolio of leading lifestyle & entertainment destinations follows Reel Cinema’s 2017 launch of the region’s first cinematic digital customer journey, and subsequent new dine-in Cinema concept launching in 2018, as the entity continues to redefine entertainment.
