Dubai-based ENOC Group have partnered with the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWC), an organisation dedicated to address domestic violence, human trafficking and child abuse in the UAE, to support underprivileged families during the holy month of Ramadan.

Through this collaboration, ENOC and DFWC will distribute 150 ‘Al Afdal’ e-cash cards by Union Cooperative, where each card will be topped up with AED500, for families to purchase products sold at the Union Cooperative’s branches across the UAE.

“Ramadan is a time we seek to encourage the values of our forefathers; to develop a powerful sense of empathy and giving back to the less fortunate amongst us. To reiterate our ongoing support to the community during the holy month, we hope to help alleviate additional expenses and fulfil the basic requirements and necessities of the less fortunate and children,” says Saif Humaid Al Falasi, group CEO, ENOC.

“We are glad to collaborate with ENOC during the month of charity and giving, the holy month of Ramadan, and also in the Year of Giving, to support the victims of violence and human trafficking at the foundation. We praise their continuous efforts to support our social causes and we are looking forward for more collaboration in the near future to contribute to the stability and development of the community which is a goal we all share,” adds DFWC director general Afra Al Basti.
