The Fashion Forward Dubai (FFWD), a fashion platform that works towards the development of the regional fashion industry, will present 12 regional designers for the first time in Saudi Arabia at the FFWD EPIC Pop-Up shop.
Taking place from June 5-25, during the holy month of Ramadan, a line-up of 12 regional designers – including Amira Haroon, Arwa Al Banawi, Ghudfah, Hessa Falasi, Jelena Bin Drai, Nasiba Hafiz, Poca & Poca, Amal Haliq, Madiso, Rula Galayini, Sarah’s Bag and Vanina – will be showcasing their Ramadan and/or spring/summer 2017 apparel and accessory collections at department store Rubaiyat, Stars Avenue Mall in Jeddah.
This Pop-Up is part of FFWD’s Empowerment Programme through Industry Collaboration (EPIC), endorsed by Dubai Design & Fashion Council (DDFC) and supported by Dubai Design District (d3),, which is dedicated to supporting regional talent to attain commercial success and widen their reach into new markets.
“The FFWD Pop-Up, under the EPIC programme, in the prestigious Rubaiyat is an excellent opportunity for regional designers to attain customer visibility in a new market. We are thrilled to partner with Rubaiyat to present some of the best designers from the region and extend further support for their brand’s development,” says Ramzi Nakad, COO & co-founder, FFWD.
