The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) – a not-for-profit foundation established in 2005 with the objective to promote and spread the reputation of fine watchmaking around the world – announced the launch of the all-new ‘Watch Live’ app. Watch Live is the first-ever instant learning app for watches and watchmaking and is set to become the all-round, must-have app designed to greatly increase knowledge of fine watchmaking.
Featuring product information, history and brand news, including a feed that aggregates partner-brands’ posts in one click, Watch Live is offered in ten languages.
Lange & Söhne, Baume & Mercier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Piaget, Officine Panerai, Manufacture Roger Dubuis and Vacheron Constantin have joined forces with the FHH to jointly build this unique app, downloadable for free, and accompany their retailers on the journey to improved performance.
The launch of Watch Live coincided with the appointment of Alexander Schmiedt as regional delegate for FHH. Schmiedt is also regional director for Vacheron Constantin in the Middle East. He will become the point of contact for all FHH activities and will closely collaborate with the partner-brands and also develop new initiatives to increase watchmaking awareness in the region.
A creator of content, competencies, connections and experiences, the FHH is supported by 42 partner brands, all of which are leading names in the watch industry and independent creators.
