Fashion, food and entertainment have been infused to create a hip environment at Boxpark – an urban destination by Meraas – for the launch of HYPE DXB. Running from February 26 to March 14 HYPE DXB invites street style shoppers to discover special collections from local and international creators, while having exciting gastronomic experiences.
For HYPE DXB, Boxpark has collaborated with Elevate Middle East, a unique pop-up fashion and design concept; The HUB, a creator of outdoor dining and entertainment spaces; and Urbanist, a hub for contemporary fashion and design.
“HYPE DXB represents the trendiest lifestyle event in 2020, where hip street fashion meets art meets food in a friendly and laid-back California-style setting. Everyone has something to see, do, buy or eat,” said Amjad Malki, co-founder, Urbanist.
More than 30 designers are presenting their avantgarde street-style clothing, handbags, shoes, accessories, home décor and jewellery designs at HYPE DXB. To celebrate Dubai Food Festival, The HUB has brought a selection of innovative street food concepts from around the world to Boxpark.
In addition to the outdoor shopping experience, artists such as Zeina Salameh and Baya Ceramic are setting up shop at the destination to create masterpieces during the event. Meanwhile, children can paint on graffiti walls at the activity corner, created especially for the occasion, while a DJ and live performers set the mood on weekends.
