The Grandiose supermarket chain, established in partnership with the French retailer Intermarché, has moved to Al Reem Island, with its first store in the UAE capital.
The new contemporary neighbourhood store is part of the group’s expansion plans for the region and its commitment to support communities through the current crisis.
“We are proud to service the Al Reem community in these pressing times, and encourage all residents in the Emirates to take advantage of our Ramadan care package and Iftar meals to support those less fortunate than themselves,” says Olivier Latour, CEO of Grandiose supermarkets.
To support the ongoing global #StayHome advice, “We have strengthened our delivery offering and introduced special offers across all our stores. We have also stepped up our health and safety measures to ensure the well-being of our staff and customers, and support to the community,” he adds.
Customers can place online orders at https://grandiose.net/ and also use the community’s grocery delivery apps such as el Grocer and Instashop.
Grandiose currently has eight supermarkets across the UAE, six in Dubai – Dubai Marina, Jumeirah, Silicon Oasis, Barsha, Dubai Mall, and Address Downtown, Grove Village in Ras Al Khaimah and Reem island in Abu Dhabi.
