Freda Cheung Joins the board of Alpha Kreol India

Alpha Kreol India Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between Kreol Trading Est from UAE and the global duty-free operator, Avolta AG, is pleased to announce that Ms. Freda Cheung has joined the Board of Directors.

Freda Cheung commented, “I’m excited to be serving on the Board of Directors of AKIPL and look forward to collaborating with other fellow Board members to add value and drive growth.”

Freda Cheung is currently the President and CEO for Asia-Pacific at Avolta AG. Prior to her latest appointment, Freda held leadership roles in Dufry US and Canada as the company’s Executive Vice President and Country General Manager (2020-2023) and Senior Vice President Commercial (2017-2019). Her extensive experience and unique insights will be invaluable as Alpha Kreol India continues to enhance operations in a bid to serve customers better. 

“We welcome Freda to our Board,” said Lal Arakulath, CEO of Kreol Group and Director of Alpha Kreol India, “Her global perspective aligns completely with our commitment to excellence and innovation in the travel retail sector.” Alpha Kreol India Pvt. Ltd. has been managing and supplying Cochin Duty Free since 2002. Cochin International Airport is the first private-public venture in the history of Indian airports.
