Freedom Pizza customers can now use Apple Pay

October 24, 2017 | By RetailME Bureau

Freedom Pizza, the healthy home-grown UAE pizza delivery company, will now allow customers to make payments through Apple Pay – which is transforming mobile payments with an easy, secure and private way to pay that’s fast and convenient – for online ordering via app and web.

Security and privacy are at the core of Apple Pay. When a credit or debit card is used with Apple Pay, the actual card numbers are not stored on the device, nor on Apple servers. Instead, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted and securely stored in the Secure Element on the user’s device. Each transaction is authorised with a one-time unique dynamic security code.

“We are extremely excited to bring Apple Pay to our customers, giving them a new, convenient and secure payment choice on our awesome online ordering and mobile apps,” Ian Ohan, CEO an & founder, Freedom Pizza.

Apple Pay is easy to set up and users will continue to receive all of the rewards and benefits offered by credit and debit cards. Online shopping in apps and on websites accepting Apple Pay is as simple as the touch of a finger with Touch ID, doing away with the need to manually fill out lengthy account forms or repeatedly type in shipping and billing information.

In addition to Freedom Pizza, Emirates NBD and Emirates Islamic banks and Visa have also brought Apple Pay to UAE customers.
