Affordable French fashion brand KIABI has opened its very first stores in the UAE at Dubai Festival City Mall and Ibn Battuta mall, in partnership with Al-Futtaim. The brand’s UAE foray follows its successful opening in Saudi Arabia in 2015.

KIABI is widely renowned in Europe owing to its omnichannel activity in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Malta, Poland and Russia, and is now successfully operating in Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Sub-Saharan Africa, with a total of 500 stores in 17 countries.

The first two KIABI stores in the UAE will lead their way to further openings as well as e-commerce activity in partnership with Al-Futtaim.

“Dubai is a strategic market for our brand and we are delighted to have Al-Futtaim as a partner to help drive and support our development here. We feel there’s a perfect match between customers’ hopes and expectations and KIABI’s unique model – though innovative collections designed in France, both affordable and great value-for-money, a true customer-friendly attitude and a ‘think global, act local’ approach,” says Florence Leclerc, chief international franchise & partnership officer.

“We are pleased to welcome KIABI to the UAE and we look forward to a long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationship with the brand and our customers. Together, we are delighted to offer something truly unique, combining the very best in French fashion for the whole family at exceptional affordable prices,” adds Paul Delaoutre, president – retail, Al Futtaim.
