French hypermarket chain Géant has opened its first hypermarket in Al Ain at the Wahat Hili Mall. The 74,200-sqft hypermarket is the mall’s biggest anchor store, offering fresh food, groceries, frozen foods, bakery products, butchery, seafood, textiles, fashion wear, shoes, jewellery, electronics, sporting goods, household items and accessories, cosmetics, perfumes, and a French style café Le Bistro.
In addition to the Casino brand of products imported from France, Géant will stock its own private label élan to attract customers from all income groups. The hypermarket is running a consumer promotion, offering immediate redemption to win shopping vouchers and a grand draw to win a Nissan Ultima car.
“Our decision to open a store in Wahat Hili Mall, our first store in in Al Ain was based on the tremendous potential we see for retailing here.
