Garrett Popcorn celebrates Emirati culture

American popcorn brand Garrett Popcorn Shops has teamed up with Emirati fashion talent Fatma Al Mulla, founder of FMM Design, creating an exclusive tin of popcorns in celebration of the Emirati culture. This one-of-its-kind initiative has been undertaken by Garrett Popcorn Shops located in The Dubai Mall and Yas Mall, for the first time globally.

Available in stores from mid-May, the limited-edition FMM Designer tins can be filled with signature flavour favorites including the Chicago mix, CaramelCrisp, Cheese Corn and Buttery/Plain. As a further exclusive, in celebration of the month of Ramadan the Dibs Date CaramelCrisp flavour returned to stores in the UAE.

Celebrating Emirati culture, heritage and vibrant design, the FMM Designer Tin depicts the fragrant dihn oud perfume bottles that have been used for centuries in the UAE and transformed it into contemporary pop art with bold floral hues and delicate trimmings. As one of FMM Design’s most famous fashion pieces, the design features fuchsia roses layered atop the perfume bottles, adorned with petals. It is an iconic symbol of Al Mulla and FMM Design.

“This design holds a very special place in my heart as it is one of the signature FMM Design representations of my heritage with a modern twist. It characterises the beauty, history and the spirited art and lifestyle of Emirati culture. I am delighted to partner with Garrett Popcorn Shops and to transform their international and iconic copper container into an artful piece celebrating the UAE, which can be treasured for years to come,” says Al Mulla.
