Kuwait-based integrated mobile technology solutions provider Future Communications Company (FCC) has announced the launch of Mahalati.com, the first omni-channel marketplace in the GCC, in partnership with US-based omni-channel solutions vendor iMarketVend. The solution which will be launched at this year’s GITEX show in Dubai, will provide participating retailers the ability to open and run online stores on the internet and mobile devices at little or practically no start-up costs.

Mahalati will enable retailers across the GCC to meet their new customer’s demands by being able to deploy software to host a catalogue, manage prices and product descriptions as well as aggregate their products in one central marketplace and reach their customers across all digital touch points including smartphones and the internet.

According to the owners, Mahalati aims to cater to a niche market within the region that prefers new channels of retailing and marketing and has embraced social and mobile like they were second nature. The omni-channel shopping mall will help local retailers drive incremental revenue and divert business from marketplaces in developed countries to the GCC region.
