Giordano showcases a ‘World Without Strangers’ by joining hands with Mawaheb
Global fashion brand Giordano recently completed three decades in the Middle East. To mark the occasion Giordano Middle East collaborated with Mawaheb, a UAE-based art studio for people of determination, to give its students the opportunity to showcase their artistic talent.
Students aged 18 years and above were asked to interpret the theme ‘World Without Strangers’. The result is an eclectic mix of artworks. Of the many artworks that were created, seven were shortlisted and will be imprinted on an exclusive range of t-shirts and postcards to be signed off by the artists. These will be gifted to Giordano’s loyal customers in the UAE and will be available for purchase at Mawaheb.
“The talents of these artists are amazing and deserve to be given credit and recognition,” said Ishwar Chugani, CEO and Managing Director, Giordano Middle East and Member of the Management Committee of Giordano International. “At Giordano, we care for the community and with this initiative we want to present the artistic creations of students on a new platform where all members of society can view their works. We hope that this will be just the start of a long collaboration.”
This is part of the Giordano Initiative For Talent (GIFT), a CSR programme developed by Giordano to support the local community.
