GLASSING launches region’s first flagship boutique in La Mer

June 19, 2018 | By RetailME Bureau

Italian luxury eyewear brand GLASSING launched a stylish flagship boutique – first in the region – in Meraas’ beachfront destination La Mer. Featuring exquisite designs and carrying the brand’s biggest collection in Dubai, the boutique will be home to all of the brand’s key styles and upcoming collections.

The 843-sqft sea-facing boutique was beautifully designed by Pandre Special Architecture and is themed around the concept of ‘Precious Cargo’. The interior fit out and flight case displays portray an industrial aesthetic inspired by the architectural materials of the building. The flight case cabinetry has been specially designed by the ever-so-famous Italian workshops in Milano.

The wall of faces is a striking display set on a wall of exposed brickwork. The iconic over-scaled ‘GP1 Head’ celebrates one of the founding design pieces of the Glassing collection. It is an element encased in its own bespoke setting giving the impression that it could be relocated like a gallery artifact; a notion that embodies the handcrafted quality design philosophy of the brand.

The brand’s popular range of sunglasses have become a global style phenomenon, and have been spotted on A-List celebrities, athletes and musicians such as Rihanna, Lewis Hamilton, The Kardashians, Christian Ronaldo and many more.

The La Mer GLASSING store carries the popular GP collection, the exclusive WeAreDubai collection, along with the new EASY collection and the brand’s complete optical range.

Hand-crafted from premium materials, the glasses feature chic designs with luxurious feel in a range of colours. From sleek modern designs, to colourful contemporary pieces, GLASSING has a pair for everyone.
