Dubai-based Glee Hospitality Solutions – which creates, develops and operates successful restaurant concepts in the Middle East – has launched a new fusion Emirati concept Majlis Alfareej in Abu Dhabi.

Glee Hospitality Solutions developed the concept with the owners of Majlis Alfareej, a family business owned by an Abu Dhabi-based Emirati national. Glee Hospitality Solutions provided pre-opening technical support as well as the post-opening operational management for the restaurant.

Located in Darwish Tower, the upcoming food & beverage destination hub on Danat Street in Abu Dhabi, Majlis Alfareej offers traditional and fusion Emirati cuisine, bringing to life the traditional food with a modern fusion twist.

The restaurant’s unique selling proposition is its menu curated by celebrity Emirati chef Khulood Atiq, the current Arabian and Emirati cuisine specialist for Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC).

“We feel privileged to launch Majlis Alfareej in Abu Dhabi. The objective was to unravel traditional Emirati culture and entertainment with healthy fusion food concept to cater to the various taste needs of our patrons across the UAE,” says Abdul Kader Saadi, managing director, Glee Hospitality Solutions.

“Abu Dhabi is a unique destination, with a strong UAE identity as also a melting pot of other cultures, which makes it a perfect location for Majlis Alfareej. The concept keeps its authenticity and with the fusion element added to it, will attract the western palate as well,” feels Saadi.

The restaurant offers a wide menu including traditional Emirati dishes like Machbous, Lgeimat, Sagaw and Karak Tea.
