GMG launches four state-of-the-art food manufacturing factories
UAE-based diversified family business GMG has launched four state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Dubai to contribute to the UAE’s National Food Security Strategy 2051 and the ‘Make in the Emirates’ initiative. The company’s Dubai Investment Park facility includes three factories to process added-value meat, poultry and seafood items with the fourth factory located in JAFZA that will process herbs and spices.

The GMG food division has grown substantially in the past four decades, starting as a small butchery shop in 1977 to becoming a leading distributor and manufacturer of some of the world’s most loved food brands. The GMG Food division oversees its own brands including Farm Fresh, Klassic, Sapora, Noor Al Islami, RUH, Chef’s Choice and Quality 1st Choice. In fact, GMG has announced global expansion plans for six of its food brands aiming to reach international markets across four continents over the next five years, making UAE an exporter of value-added food products.
