Popular surf and turf restaurant in Fujairah, Gonu Bar and Grill is all set to welcome guests to its newly renovated, uber contemporary interiors. Maintaining the glorious legacy of the beach front restaurant, the new wave of renovations harmoniously blends the revamped, all-white décor with the breathtaking surroundings, promising unobstructed views of the Indian Ocean.

The design team has worked closely with Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort’s management to ensure that the refurbishments holistically enhance guest experience. Upgrades at the restaurant are expertly executed and the newly renovated pathway leads guests to the relaxed ambience of Gonu Bar and Grill. A combination of wood, unique tiles and contemporary lighting accents lend warmth to the all-white décor, whilst beautifully complementing the picturesque charm of Le Méridien Al Aqah’s private beach.

Boasting of an increased seating capacity for up to 130 covers, the restaurant interiors are accentuated with plush sofas and swing seats that overlook the breezy Indian Ocean. The dazzling open bar leads to the newly added dance floor, complete with a top-of-the-line music system to keep the entertainment quotient high all through the night.

Splashes of the upgrades are also reflected in the menu, which will be presented on an LED holder, making for an Insta-worthy click. Staying true to its vicinity, this beach-front restaurant has introduced a Live fish tank to delight seafood aficionados with the finest selection of lobsters and crabs. Reinventing Gonu’s best-sellers, the culinary team is bringing exciting additions, including grilled and seafood appetizers, hearty mains and mouth-watering desserts.

“The extensive upgrades at Gonu Bar and Grill have been expertly executed to highlight the legacy of this beach-front restaurant, rated as the number one restaurant in Fujairah on Tripadvisor. We are confident that our guests will be delighted with the dazzling, refurbished bar, elegant all-white interiors while enjoying the innovative culinary additions amid stunning views of the Indian Ocean at Le Méridien Al Aqah’s private beach,” says complex general manager, Patrick Antaki.
