Gourmet sweet shop and European-style bakery & cafe Delecto, created by the Abu Dhabi-based home-grown company Royal Catering, is all set for a grand opening next week on May 16 on Al Bateen Street, off the Corniche.

“Royal Catering is renowned country-wide for producing superior quality culinary creations. The Delecto idea came about as a result of the continued feedback Royal Catering has received for over a decade from our valued guests who want to regularly enjoy the warm hospitality and unmatched excellence that we provide,” shares chairman BR Shetty.

Delecto’s showroom will feature eight bespoke themed culinary corners – from the Arabic sweet counter, chocolate section, pastry and bakery, to the grill, Sushi counter, salad bar, pizza and pasta station and the Mediterranean section. The space flanks an open kitchen through which visitors can observe the skilled chefs and chocolatiers crafting meals and handmade delicacies.

Complementing the dining experience is Delecto’s specialty boutique retail offer from where visitors can buy food, cakes, gifts and hampers for special occasions, and also taste a variety of mouth-watering samples.

“In addition to our outstanding boutique retail, Delecto offers a sensational selection of specially crafted meals and is the perfect destination for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in-between. Our customers are most welcome to dine-in and enjoy the elegance synonymous with the Royal Catering brand, or alternatively, Delecto also delivers, and is available for takeaway, private and corporate functions. We also offer bespoke corporate-branded boxes, which are customised to suit customer preferences,” Shetty adds.
