Home-grown brand PureBorn reports massive growth

Home-grown in the UAE, e-commerce brand PureBorn is seeing high demand for its eco-friendly and affordable collection of childcare products – including innovative nappies and wipes – across the Middle East. Alongside PureBorn’s e-commerce platform, the collection is available in leading retail stores, supermarkets and pharmacies.

Since inception three years ago, the brand has seen 35% month-on-month revenue growth, confirms founder & CEO, Hannah Curran. PureBorn has been steadily gaining market share, and space, in the ‘green and natural’ section of major supermarkets across the region. PureBorn e-commerce platform is also witnessing a surge in demand for online orders with a monthly site visitor increase of 156%. Best-sellers across in-store and online purchases include the uniquely printed nappies.

“From a small Dubai start-up with big ambitions in 2017, PureBorn has established itself as the go-to brand for families in the Middle East looking for sustainable, ethical and affordable kids’ necessities. We are grateful for our customers and their feedback, which help us to constantly evolve the brand offering, and also our business partners for believing in our vision,” says Curran. “2020 is going to be a busy year for us – we have new innovative products to bring to market, new country launches and more work with the charities which we donate a percentage of our sales to. We also have our sights set on further expansion in Europe – we’re excited and hungry to take PureBorn to new heights.”

PureBorn has become a PETA Vegan and Cruelty-free certified organisation and has secured the ECOCERT seal of approval. What’s more, the brand is improving products to meet customer demands. Recent months have seen the development of a new eco packaging – with 40% reduction in plastic – as well as a nappy and wipe subscription model to make parent’s life easier.
