Dubai-based shopping mall BurJuman has announced the addition of a Homegrown Market to its Ramadan celebrations.
Running from May 24 to the end of the Holy Month, the market is being held in association with Share This Space. They are the region’s first and only start-up connecting the real estate sector with creative, consumer and start-up sectors – enabling a host of activations ranging from brand activations, art installations, F&B concepts to retail pop-ups.
In addition to providing opportunities to celebrate the Holy Month in all its reverence through a donation partnership with the Red Crescent along with a cultural experience through henna painting, calligraphy and much more, the Homegrown Ramadan Market will provide a unique shopping experience between 3pm to midnight at the mall’s main atrium.
The Ramadan pop-up market will feature a number of F&B, handicraft and local beauty and clothing brands. These include L’Atelier du Miel, a Lebanese artisanal honey, jams and sweets brand; locally-based aromatherapy brand, Santté; local beauty and cosmetic brand, Purpleswan; online fashion store Zamira style; everyday jewellery brand, Adruzy; Mad over Pajamas and conscious fashion accessories brand, Nour Kays to name a few.
